Stefanie was born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany. In 2017, she moved with her two Son’s to the Netherlands. Today Dutch is one of the four languages she can communicate in. Nevertheless, until today she prefers to speak English, German or Spanish. A great cultural and language background, in combination with Accounting expertise, the Netherlands have opened Stefanie great professional opportunities.
In July 2011 she successfully completed her Bachelor Degree in International Management. Her thesis "Central Aspect of Development Aid. Review and critique of past policies and presentation of a new method" focuses in the field of international political economics and microfinance received the highest grade (1.0 - distinction).
Since her University studies Stefanie has realized the urgent need to support saving our planet and reducing global poverty. She believes every small step brings us one step closer. Therefore she and her family eat vegan as much possible and they have started a group, together with children, cleaning up plastic trash in the neighbourhood. Stefanie wants to combine her professional knowledge to support sustainable sustainable projects.
During her financial career, Stefanie was blessed to have gained great process optimalization knowledge having experienced multiple Accounting Software implementations. Today, she dares to say that she have an eye for operational structures and financial process improvements.

Awarded for the successfully implementation of a financial web-application based on SQL Database. Accounting Regulations: US Governmental Regulations.
Special Achievement: Implementation of a new accounting software and upgrade from an accrual based accounting system to a commercial accounting system (German GAP).
First financial experiences gained: Foreign permanent subsidiaries, general ledger accounting, processing of daily bank account statements for the Group Holding, cash management and corporate credit lines (bonds), plus reconciliation of general ledger accounts of affiliated companies (inter-company reconciliations) according to IFRS and German GAP.
As Financial Manager for the LWR, a Siemens/MRCE joint venture, Stefanie built up the financial and operational structure in Exact online Project Management.
In the Netherlands she gained her first Dutch experience in a medium size digital agency. Stefanie was responsible for the whole financial administration and lucky to learn about Dutch GAP directly from their Accountant.
In Germany Stefanie has worked for eight years as Financial Accountant in a U.S. Government Agency. She reconciled multiple accounting systems, exchange rate fluctuations and reported the financial statements and audit requests timely and accurate to higher headquarters.
Here she successfully implemented as team lead a financial web-application (EVM) based on a Oracle SQL Database.
Further, she was part of a team that implemented successfully a new accounting software and reporting for an international Non-Profit-Organization. The highlight was presenting the results to the treasury conference in Accra, Ghana.
She has experience with SAP R/3, Exact Online, MS Business Central, reeleezee, Oracle SQL and all current Microsoft Office software packages. Dutch GAP, IFRS, German GAP (HGB) and U.S. Government Accounting Standards, consolidated financial statements, general ledger accountings, inter-company reconciliation and cash management including bond credit lines within an international Group Holding.
